Government Accountability: Stop Waste, Fraud & Abuse

Stop Waste, Fraud & Abuse
Washington has grown government programs rapidly while oversight has lagged behind. Families are asked to pay more while stories of waste, failed programs, and questionable spending continue to emerge.

Priorities:
• Independent audits of major state programs and spending initiatives
• Stronger fraud detection and oversight measures
• Zero tolerance for misuse of taxpayer funds
• Measure outcomes—not political promises

Core message:Taxpayer money should solve problems—not disappear into bureaucracy.

Issue 2

Affordability & Tax Relief

Washington has become too expensive for working families, seniors, and small businesses.

All of us are paying too much for gas, groceries, utilities, housing, insurance, and everyday essentials—while government continues to grow.

Priorities:
• Oppose new taxes and fee increases
• Review and reduce burdensome regulations that increase housing and business costs
• Protect seniors on fixed incomes from being priced out of their communities
• Push for property tax restraint and taxpayer protections

Core message:Government doesn’t have a revenue problem—it has a spending and priorities problem.

Issue 3

Restore Excellence in Education

Parents deserve schools that educate—not systems that make excuses.

Too many students are falling behind in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking while parents feel increasingly shut out of decision-making.

Priorities:
• Restore focus on academic excellence in core subjects
• Support parental rights and transparency in education
• Expand vocational, technical, and career pathways

Core message:Our schools should prepare kids for life, work, and citizenship—not fail them while demanding more money.

Issue 4

Public Safety and Community Protection

We deserve safe neighborhoods, functioning public systems, and leaders who prioritize victims over criminals.

Public safety is foundational. Without it, families leave, businesses close, and communities deteriorate.

Priorities:
• Support law enforcement and first responders
• Ensure accountability for repeat offenders
• Address addiction and mental health with real solutions—not endless enabling
• Protect children from exploitation and trafficking

Core message:
Compassion and accountability are not opposites. Safe communities require both.
