ABOUT
BACKGROUND
Lisa Rezac was born and raised in Edmonds, where she developed a deep appreciation for community, hard work, and service. Growing up in a Republican household, she watched her father navigate the challenges of owning a construction business.
This gave her firsthand insight into the realities small business owners face and the impact government policies can have on everyday people.
After earning a degree in Political Science from the University of Washington, Lisa spent a decade in New York City, where she worked across multiple industries including hospitality, theater, and television production. Living in Queens exposed her to a wide range of cultures, perspectives, and life experiences, helping shape her belief that strong leadership requires both conviction and the ability to listen.
Following the birth of her son, Lisa and her husband Tony returned to Seattle to be closer to family and build the next chapter of her life in the community she has always called home.
EXPERIENCE
Lisa’s professional and community experience has centered around leadership, service, and bringing people together to solve problems.
Her early passion for service led her to co-found a sponsorship initiative supporting children in Zambia and organize her first fundraising efforts. After the 2008 economic downturn, she built a career leading charitable team-building programs for Fortune 100 companies, helping organizations strengthen leadership, teamwork, and purpose-driven culture.
Lisa later launched her own charitable team-building company, coordinating projects that sent care packages to deployed military service members and STEAM educational kits to underserved schools.
Since 2020, Lisa has been active in grassroots politics, advocating for parents’ rights, educational choice, government accountability, and policies that put communities—not political agendas—first.
As King County Republican Party Vice Chair, she helped usher in new leadership and worked to strengthen local political organization, coalition-building, and community engagement.
Lisa is running for State Representative to bring practical leadership, accountability, and a strong voice for the people of the 32nd District.
